The
Southern California Chapter of the Steamship Historical
Society of America is proud to call the RMS
Queen Mary home, with generous office, meeting and
library space furnished by the RMS Queen Mary Foundation.
The
office is located on B Deck, adjacent to the Caronia Room-
forward, on the port side. The research room/library contains
the Society's archives, and collections of books and print
memorabilia. The office is open on weekends with all SSHSA
research services available on board being provided free
of charge to Queen Mary guests.
For
more information about the Queen Mary attractions, hotel,
restaurants, banquet and meeting facilities or group rates,
the public may call (562) 435-3511. The Queen Mary is
also home to Tibbie's Dinner Theater; the Laugh is Hope
Comedy Club and the Globe of America Academy for Dramatic
Arts. The Queen Mary is located at 1126 Queens Highway
at the south end of the 710 Freeway, on the water in Long
Beach, California.
